SENIOR HYDROGRAPHER (M/F)
CERES is expanding its hydrography team and recruiting a senior hydrographer.
You will be involved in every stage of operations, from planning and offshore data acquisition to processing, interpretation and delivery of results.
Your responsibilities
• Take part in varied projects in France and internationally.
• Work both in the field and on data processing and interpretation.
• Operate modern hydrographic and geophysical equipment.
• Contribute to bathymetry, wreck searches, object and UXO detection, port works and seabed studies.
Your profile
• At least three years’ experience in offshore, nearshore or coastal hydrographic surveys.
• A qualification in hydrography, oceanography or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of shallow-water and coastal operations.
• Practical experience with side-scan sonar, multibeam echosounders, magnetometers, sub-bottom profilers, RTK GNSS positioning, inertial navigation and USBL systems.
• Excellent written and spoken French and English.

Details
Regular travel and time at sea are required.
Based in Montfarville, Manche, France.
Permanent, full-time contract.
Salary according to qualifications and experience.
