CERESʼs survey ship allows fast mobilisations and response. She can undertake light works as a ‘one-off’ or long term, as well as heavy duty campaigns. That flexibility is a key point on harsh environments where reactivity is often crucial. Weather windows must be ideally exploited, mostly for geophysical and geotechnical acquisition, considering that data quality is directly related to sea-state.
SOLID HULL BOAT
CERES owns a stable, light weight solid hull boat that can be quickly mobilised anywhere in France.
She can reach very shallow and/or hazardous areas that cannot be covered by any catamaran.
The SHB undertake bathymetric andmagneto-metric missions but also divers support purposes.
Performing bathymetric surveys, building digital elevation models, editing depth charts, measuring siltation and cubature... CERES undertakes single-beam and multi-beam echo sounders operations.
SIDE SCAN SONARS
Detecting submerged objects (wrecks, anchors, mines, structures, obstructions), classifying geological and sedimentary features... CERES undertake side scan sonar surveys
Depending on work load, salvage equipment may vary from inflatable balloons to lifting barges.
BOOMERS, AIR GUNS
Visualising, analysing, mapping geological horizons and structures in depth: CERES owns a large spread of geophysical tools from sub-bottom profilers or seismic equipment.
